Left Bank is designed to showcase some of the great things happening in Argyle / Hamilton / Priory area of Birkenhead. We want to shout that we are here, share what we do but ultimately get you involved! This first walk-around showcases great art, VR, music and much more but is just the start. We want to build this to become the regions biggest and best coming together of creatives, thinkers, shakers, movers, doers and makers in this blossoming creative community. If you haven’t already, block out Saturday 17th and get ready for the first Leftbank collective all-dayer. A full day of arts, culture and music across Birkenhead shaped by grassroots organisations.
5 venues 16 hours welcome to the Leftbank!
You are all invited to get involved across the day with this fantastic programme of free and affordable activities. Leftbank collective maps and programmes will be available to collect at each venue.
Who’s involved and whats on:
Future Yard 12-6pm: hosting Super Cool Drawing Machine, an exhibition of musician’s ‘other’ artwork, between 12pm and 8pm. Featuring paintings, sculpture and drawings from 30 internationally-renowned artists.
Make 2pm-8pm: Make CIC will be presenting a group exhibition from some of our wonderful studio members as well as open studios, stalls and the grand opening of our cafe.
Bloom Building 2pm-late: name of the game here is to be your best version of your weekend self. All in the name of reimagining where melancholia and anxiety sit in the modern world, what support looks like and how art can be a catalyst for change. Bloom Bar and Café open all day with all proceeds to the ODC.
Convenience @Bloom 2pm-late: “In Cahoots” Launch event- A full day of all things contemporary and community art. We’ve got live performances, interactive artworks, film screenings, and musicians and DJs throughout this immense all dayer. With mindfulness and VR Mindfulness sessions lead the ODC team.

Spider project CIC 10am-4pm : Spider project CIC will open its doors publicly.
Scenegraph Studios is showcasing Augmented Reality posters at locations of Make, Future Yard, and Bloom. These posters are awesome. Simple scan the QR-code and see great Augmented Reality. NO APPs REQUIRED.
